Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) plans to issue a Request for Proposals for Master Planning Assistance in June of 2014. Planning will include, but is not limited to, forecasting future drainage and wastewater system needs, developing future utility system scenarios, and identifying utility investments which may include capital projects, inter-departmental collaboration, public education and outreach efforts, and O&M activities, and in consideration of social, economic, and environmental factors. This will be SPU’s first DWW integrated planning project and the work tasks and process will be assessed for improvement for future master planning projects.
