Boundary Reservoir Tributary Non-Native Fish Eradication and Suppression Program

The City of Seattle, Seattle City Light Department (“SCL”), seeks to engage a consultant to assist with the implementation planning for an extensive non-native salmonid eradication and suppression program in tributaries to the Pend Oreille River in northeastern Washington.
SCL is seeking qualified firms to provide the following: Environmental Consulting Services in the tributaries to Pend Oreille River, Boundary Hydroelectric Project, which include the following tasks:
Task 1: Project Planning and Coordination
Task 2: Field Data Acquisition and Analysis
Task 3: Implementation Technical Memo Development
Task 4: Implementation Planning Workshop
Task 5: Finalization of Implementation Plan
Task 6: Permitting
Task 7: Monitoring and Evaluation
Task 8: Implementation Consultation
Task 9: Administration
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through December 31, 2018. City Light has identified a budget for this project and estimates the contract to be $550,000.00 or less.
SCL may at its option amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.

The City’s proposed schedule is outlined in the RFQ.
The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFQ will be awarded in a manner that will comply with all applicable laws of the United States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
“WOMEN AND MINORITY AFFIRMATIVE EFFORTS REQUIREMENTS: All proposals are required to meet the Affirmative Efforts requirements as specified in the RFP. An Outreach Plan will be required for the top rated consultant(s).”
