CITY OF SEATTLE
REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES

Project:  SDOT 16-102 On-Call Paving Program Outreach and Communications

The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for SDOT 16-102 On-Call Paving Program Outreach and Communications.

This contract is estimated to be up to $850,000 with the time of performance expected to be between February 2017 and December 2019.

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is seeking outreach and communications services to support the Paving Program. Each year, SDOT rehabilitates arterial streets to make them safer and more comfortable to travel on and to extend their useful life. Projects are prioritized based on pavement condition, traffic volume, opportunities to improve the roadway’s operations, equity, and opportunities for grants or coordination with other projects.

Paving projects can often include better street crossings and curb ramp upgrades or repairs (consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act). It is also a good opportunity for other changes that address safety, how people are using the street, and consideration of citywide transportation plans.

The paving program is funded by the voter-approved Levy to Move Seattle and makes it possible for us to pave up to 180 lane miles of arterial streets over nine years.

Interested qualified consultants request the Request for Qualifications packet at the following address:  https://www.ebidexchange.com/seattle.

NOTE: YOU MUST FORMALLY REGISTER AT EBID IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE ADDENDUMS.

The Request for SOQ’s packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.

SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention:  Pamela Garcia, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington  98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., January 4, 2017.

Any questions regarding this Request for SOQ’s may be submitted via eBid eXchange.  Response to questions will be provided via eBid Addendum.
