REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES 

Project:  SDOT 16-115 Northgate Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge Communications 

The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified public involvement firms for SDOT 16-115 Northgate Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge Communications.

This contract is estimated to be up to $600,000 with the time of performance expected to be between 2Q 2017 and 2Q 2020.

Requesting consultant services for outreach and engagement for design and construction of the Northgate Pedestrian Bridge Project.

Scope includes preparation and implementation of a public involvement plan, support of Value Engineering process, stakeholder engagement and briefings, preparation, participation, and meeting minutes of bi-weekly meetings, right of way preparation process, pre-construction business and residential surveys, development of project materials; including mail and email notifications, graphics preparation and correspondence tracking.  Construction support may include development of wayfinding, business access, signage plan during construction, construction notification, website edits, traffic advisories, public meetings and events, door to door outreach and attendance at weekly construction meetings.

The Request for SOQ’s packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.

SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention:  Pamela Garcia, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington 98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., March 8, 2017.

 Any questions regarding this Request for SOQ’s may be submitted via eBid eXchange.  Response to questions will be provided via eBid Addendum.
