REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES 

Project:  SDOT 17-014 – Roadway Design Services On-Call 

The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for SDOT 17-014 – Roadway Design Services On-Call.

This contract is estimated to be up to $500,000 per contract (up to 3 contracts) with the time of performance expected to be between June 2017 and June 2019, which the option to extend to June 2020.

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is seeking to rehabilitate its arterial roadway network through the nine year Move Seattle Levy and its Arterial Asphalt and Concrete (AAC) Program.  Key elements of projects of the AAC Program include asphalt pavement mill and overlay, partial asphalt and concrete roadway reconstruction, full concrete roadway reconstruction, roadway re-channelization, traffic signal detection restoration, pedestrian signal restoration, surface water collection system restoration, flow control systems, curb ramp installation, and sidewalk repair.  The City of Seattle, through SDOT, requests Statements of Qualifications with the goal of retaining up to three consultant teams who can be available on an on-call basis to assist SDOT in the planning, early engineering (Project Definition), bid document preparation (PS&E), and construction phases of our AAC Program projects.

The Request for SOQ’s packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.
