Project Description: The Broadview neighborhood in North Seattle has significant sewer capacity issues and substantial stormwater flooding during large rain storms. The sewer system is a dedicated sanitary sewer system in the neighborhood, rather than a combined sewer where drainage and effluent are mixed. In order to address the sewer capacity and stormwater management system improvement needs, a consultant will be hired to assist SPU in data collection, alternative analysis, value analysis, project management, design, public involvement, landscape architecture, and construction support.
Engineer’s Estimate: $5,000,000

Pre-Proposal Conference: 7/7/2011, 1:00 PM PST. A pre-submittal meeting will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Seattle Municipal Tower 700 5th Avenue, Floor 49, Room 4901, Seattle, WA 98124 The first part of this meeting will be to familiarize attendees with the RFP purpose and scope of work, along with a Q&A time. This will be followed by a networking session to allow potential subconsultants the opportunity to circulate through and meet with the identified primes. Potential subconsultants are encouraged to bring their business card with a one page profile that states the name of their company, address, key contact person, phone number, type of work they perform and three references.
