MULTI-YEAR WASTE COMPOSITION STUDY (CONTRACT C12-056)

 The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to conduct sampling to determine the composition of residential, commercial, self haul, construction and demolition debris, residential recycling and organic waste for this Multi-Year Composition Study.

This project includes three main steps for each of the waste streams being sampled.  The first step is setting up the methodology including the sampling categories, schedule and sampling protocol for each of the studies. Next is performing the sampling work monthly or quarterly on site at various solid waste, construction and demolition debris and recycling transfer or processing facilities.   The final step is to prepare reports detailing the study methodology and results.
