Title:  U District Urban Design Environmental Impact Statement

 Scope of Work:  City of Seattle is seeking proposals from consultants or consultant teams for environmental consulting services in preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”).  The work will evaluate potential impacts and mitigation strategies associated with an area rezone in the University District.  The intent of the environmental review is to fulfill SEPA requirements through completion of both a draft and final EIS, including evaluation of two “action” alternatives and one “no-action” alternative, and to help the City develop land use recommendations.  The EIS will evaluate and build on planning work currently underway: www.seattle.gov/dpd/planning/university_district
