SDOT is seeking consultant services to develop a Freight Master Plan (FMP) so as to allow the City to guide freight investments in a manner that supports Seattle’s goals for safety, social equity, economic productivity, sustainability, and livable communities.  The project team will be led by the SDOT project manager and will include the consultant team project manager, other consultant team members, and other SDOT and staff chosen for their subject-matter expertise.

The categories of consulting services that may be needed for this project include, but are not limited to: freight planning, multimodal transportation planning, logistics and supply chain management, geographic information systems (GIS), intermodal freight operations, modeling, traffic operations analysis, environmental analysis, economic analysis, cost estimating, project management, graphics, and public outreach and stakeholder engagement.
