Request for Applications – City of Seattle Consultant Roster Program

Professional and personal consultants are invited by the City of Seattle to apply at any time to the City Consultant Roster, to become eligible for service contacts estimated to cost less than $280,000.  The City accepts applications at any time during the year.  Appointment to the Roster does not guarantee work. Firms may apply to one or more categories; applicants with prior experience by the firm and/or key personnel will be approved by category.  Once approved, firms remain on the Roster until their contact information becomes obsolete. Firms on the Roster need not reapply. Apply anytime and view categories and qualifications at

http://www.seattle.gov/contracting/consultantroster.htm . Two new categories were added: Civil Engineering and Education – Planning & Management.  Categories become restricted to small businesses once 15 small firms are named to the Roster category.

The City of Seattle in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
