REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
for
On-Call Renewables Program & Marketing Services
SCL seeks firms that can provide program design and marketing support, which could include research, negotiation and project management of RECs, and who are well versed in renewable program life-cycle management, including program development, implementation, marketing (education and recruitment) and customer retention for a variety of green power programs, and, where appropriate, support for energy efficiency programs which are frequently marketed as part of a comprehensive suite of “green” programs and services offered a utility.
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through March 31, 2018. City Light has identified a budget for this project of $3,000,000.00 over the life of the contract.
SCL, may, at its option, amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.

The City’s proposed schedule is outlined in the RFP.
The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFP will comply with all applicable laws of the United States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
“WOMEN AND MINORITY AFFIRMATIVE EFFORTS REQUIREMENTS: All proposals are required to meet the Affirmative Efforts requirements as specified in the RFQ/RFP. An Outreach Plan will be required for the top rated consultant(s).”
