REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 14-024 On-call Corridor Development Reports
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for SDOT 14-024 On-call Corridor Development Reports.
This contract is estimated to be up to $1,100,000 to $1,375,000 for the 10 corridors currently identified, with the time of performance expected to be between June 2014 and December 2015. It is SDOT’s intent to select and contract with two consultant firms/teams as a means of completing all work on the corridors specified by the end of 2015. The work will be divided approximately equally among the two consultant firms/teams. There is the potential to add approximately 5 additional corridors to this contract with the additional consultant effort valued at approximately $650,000.
The categories of consulting services that may be needed for this project include, but are not limited to: project management; transit planning and design; multimodal transportation planning and design; traffic analysis and modeling; signals/electrical design; freight planning; bicycle and pedestrian planning and facilities design; coordination on public involvement; roadway engineering; landscape architecture; urban design; and, cost estimating.

The Request for SOQ’s packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.
SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Sonia Palma, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington 98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., June 4, 2014.
