REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 14-094 – Bridge Assessment: Cowen Park, Schmitz Park and Post Alley Bridges
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for SDOT 14-094 – Bridge Assessment: Cowen Park, Schmitz Park and Post Alley Bridges.
This contract is estimated to be up to $350,000 with the time of performance expected to be between March 2015 and September 2015.
The proposed consultant service will include, but not be limited to, the preparation of a modified type, size and location (TS&L) study culminating in a report that includes a recommendation for the preferred corrective measures. The content of the reports will document recommendations to correct the identified deficiencies listed on the Bridge Rehab Advisory Committee (BRAC) application for each of the bridges. It will also provide additional recommendations for any other identified and applicable deficiencies, both structural and seismic, that were not considered as part of the BRAC application. Finally, the consultant may develop an engineer’s estimate for each of the recommended solutions.
