CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 15-016 PAID PARKING DATA MODEL
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests proposals from qualified consulting firms for SDOT 15-016 Paid Parking Data Model.
This contract is estimated to be up to $75,000-$100,000 with the time of performance expected to be between June 2015 and December 2015. There is the possibility of some supporting work after the initial scope is completed.
The Paid Parking Data Model project will determine the potential technical applications of using on-street paid parking transaction data to predict actual parking occupancy. Consultant work will include a thorough analysis of blockface level transaction data trends and compare these data with previous manual occupancy studies. Consultant will develop predictive model(s) and will refine the models and determine overall feasibility of applications based on 2015 data collection efforts. Consultant will document process, findings, including presentations at SDOT project team meetings and to the Seattle Parking Sounding Board.
