NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS
Request for Information (RFI) for
SPU Water Taps Process Improvements (Project Taps)
SPU RFI # 16-011-I
The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting responses from qualified consultants for the next phase of process improvements for the Development Services Office (DSO) 2.0 Program for the SPU Water Taps Process Improvements (Project Taps), which is the focus of this RFI.
SPU customers work with SPU to have a connection to the water main installed from the water main adjacent to their property; this connection is called a “water tap”. SPU is seeking to improve this process, which is cumbersome, untimely, and not meeting the needs of the development community. SPU seeks to reduce customer turnaround time and increase customer service.
Interested consultants are encouraged to review the RFI, background documents, and any RFI addenda online at https://www.ebidexchange.com/seattle. Note that you are required to complete a free registration to view, print or save documents posted on this website and to view contact information for other consultants who have downloaded documents from this website.
The deadline for submitting responses is 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the 50th Floor, Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104-4018 in person; Vicky Schiantarelli, Seattle Public Utilities, Contracts Division, P.O. Box 34018, Seattle, WA 98124-4018 by mail; or spu_grantsandcontracts@seattle.gov by email.
No SPU Pre-Submittal Conference will be held.
Any questions regarding this request shall be directed to Vicky Schiantarelli, RFI Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at https://www.ebidexchange.com/seattle.
The City of Seattle is an Equal Opportunity Employer and selection of the Consultant is subject to applicable laws and ordinances regarding equal opportunity employment.
