16-091: 2018 Neighborhood Street Fund Outreach and Engagement
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants for SDOT’s contract 16-091: 2018 Neighborhood Street Fund Outreach and Engagement.
The expected cost of this contract is up to $650,000, with the time of performance expected to be between November 2016 and November 2018.
Scope of Work:
This contract provides outreach and engagement services for Neighborhood Street Fund projects. starting at project selection and continuing through the design phase in 2017, and culminating in outreach during project construction in 2018. Work will be scoped on an annual basis, with the option for future amendments after a 12-month performance period (November 2016- November 2018).
Consultant will support public outreach and engagement for the life of each project. This will start with developing Public Involvement Plans for each project, making initial contact with stakeholders and the general public, and measuring public support for the preferred alternative. Consultant will stay involved through the design phase as specific impacts to adjacent properties are determined. Finally, Consultant will support public outreach during the construction phase, including construction notices, detailed coordination with impacted residents and businesses, and questions from the public within two months of construction completion.
