The Summit Re-Implementation (SRI) Project is responsible for implementing the PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 system (referred to as “Summit”), that realizes the overall Financial Management and Accountability Program (FinMAP) value statement of “Meet the City’s need for standardization of financial management policy and practice that balances process efficiencies, system capabilities and department’s operational needs.”

Training planning, development and delivery is critical to the success of SRI so that it recognizes the FinMAP vision. Successful training will ensure ease of use of the system by the end users that supports and enhances understanding and acceptance of the new business processes.  End user training will focus on using PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 in support of the new business processes.

SRI seeks to procure a vendor experienced in developing and delivering PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 end user training to 1,500 – 2,000 City staff, as well as incorporating the standardized business processes that surround and support the PeopleSoft system functionality. SRI seeks a skilled Consultant available to help create a positive learning environment conducive to adult learners, deliver training to a diverse user environment and advise on best practices and strategies to address training needs of various types of users.

Selection for this RFP is subject to all applicable laws and ordinances. The participation of women-and-minority-owned firms is a cultural value of the City of Seattle and is strongly encouraged.
