Real Property Appraisals On-Call Contracts,
Projects with FTA Funds
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests proposals from qualified firms for SDOT contracts:
17-072: Real Property Appraisals On-Call Contract, Projects with FTA Funds
17-073: Real Property Appraisals On-Call Contract, Projects with FTA Funds
The City expects to award two on-call contracts. The time of performance is anticipated to be 3 years, for a total of $500,000 per contract.
Scope of Work
Provide right of way appraisal services on an On-Call basis. Services will be provided in a series of Work Authorizations. Each Work Authorization will consist of specific scopes of work, milestones, deliverables and budgets. Anticipated scope of work includes but is not limited to the following services:
Consultant shall develop: project funding estimates for right-of-way acquisitions for capital projects true cost estimates, appraisals, appraisal reviews, administrative offer summaries, cost to cure bids, and market analysis for property acquisitions, surpluses and sales.
These services will be provided in compliance with Federal, State and local laws, including, but not limited to, the Uniform Act 42 U.S. Code Chapter 61, WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines, RCW 8.26 and any Seattle Municipal Code applicable to appraisals. Appraisal work will be required to be done in a manner that maintains eligibility for federal funding.

The City allows and will accept an electronic submittal in lieu of an official paper submittal per section 7.8 of the RFP.
