Web Design & Build
SPU RFQ/Contract# 18-017-S

 The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from local consultants who have proven experience in all areas of the web design and build processes for large websites. SPU seeks candidates who have experience working within established style policies and guidelines in government settings and working with the Ingeniux CMS. Consultant will lead the redesign and implementation of the external and internal SPU websites. This work includes aspects of discovery, design, diverse user recruitment, testing, modeling, user experience, content development, and training of SPU staff, working closely with the Web Project Manager, Web Content Editor, and Seattle IT to complete development of the redesigned websites. Project objectives include complete redesign and implementation of a customer-friendly, accessible, and engaging external website, an easy-to-use portal for finding information, sharing knowledge, and engaging with employee affinity groups and communities on SharePoint. The estimated cost of this contract is $740,000. This cost would be less if Seattle IT completes development work internally.

Written questions related to this RFQ are encouraged and shall be directed to Sherry Parker, Contract Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at sherry.parker@seattle.gov.  To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 7, 2018. All responses to questions will be issued to all RFQ recipients in the form of an addendum to this RFQ. Addenda will be posted by 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at https://www.ebidexchange.com/seattle.
