REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 18-039 Pioneer Square East-West Streets Pedestrian Improvements
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation and the Office of the Waterfront and Civic Projects, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design and engineering teams for SDOT 18-039 Pioneer Square East-West Streets Pedestrian Improvements. The Pioneer Square East-West Streets Pedestrian Improvements Project will design and construct pedestrian improvements and associated street design improvements on portions of Main, Washington, King and Yesler Streets between 2nd Avenue and Alaskan Way in Downtown Seattle.
The primary project objectives are:
• Connect the core of Pioneer Square to the new Waterfront.
• Provide safe, convenient, graceful pedestrian connections and foster positive city life and activity in key Pioneer Square east-west streets.
The consultant shall provide consultant design services 0%-100% design and design services through construction.
This contract is estimated to be up to $2.2M to $2.8M with the time of performance expected to be between September 2018 and May 2022.
