CONSULTANT SERVICES
Title: 18-057 – Acquisition and Relocation On-Call Services

 The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests proposals from qualified firms for SDOT 18-057 – Acquisition and Relocation On-Call Services.

The City of Seattle is seeking multiple qualified consultants/firms to provide On-Call Acquisition and Relocation services.

Individual acquisition and relocation work will be awarded on an as-needed basis, in support of current and future transportation needs. The period of these contracts is anticipated to be for 3 years, for a total of approximately $500,000 per contract.

Scope of Work:
Provide acquisition and relocation services on an on-call basis. Services will be provided in a series of Work Authorizations. Each Work Authorization will consist of specific scopes of work, milestones, deliverables, and budgets. Anticipated scope of work includes but is not limited to the following services:

Property acquisitions will include, but are not limited to, permits, rights of entry, leases, licenses, temporary construction easements, temporary occupancy permits, easements, partial fee acquisitions, full fee acquisitions and covenants.

These services will be provided in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, including, but not limited to, the Uniform Act 42 U.S. Code Chapter 61, WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines, RCW 8.26 and any Seattle Municipal Code applicable to negotiations, acquisitions, title clearing, escrow, and relocations.  All work will be required to be done in a manner that maintains eligibility for federal funding.

The RFP includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as sub-consulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.
