REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
18-064 On-Call Construction Management Contracts 

The City of Seattle, through the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for an assortment of capital projects. The type of work includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Asphalt and Concrete Pavement
  • Bridge Rehab and Replacement
  • Bridge Seismic Retrofitting
  • Bridge Painting
  • Trail construction
  • Intelligent Transportation Systems
  • Transit related street improvements
  • Hazard Mitigation (e.g. Landslide repairs).
  • Pedestrian Improvement and sidewalk repairsDetailed scope of work is provided in the Request for Qualifications.

SDOT has identified the following Core functions in these contracts:

  • Resident Engineer Services.
  • Inspection Services.
  • Office Engineering/Document Control Services. 

A core function is any element of a particular scope of work which SDOT is certain will be performed and completed through all phases of this Contract. Consultants shall focus on the core functions when developing meaningful and realistic integration of WMBE roles in proposed Inclusion Plans. 

Up to ten contracts may be awarded, ranging from $1Million to $4M, each for up to four years.

NOTE: YOU MUST FORMALLY REGISTER AT EBID IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE ADDENDUMS.

The RFQ includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as sub-consulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.

SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Dominic Kirangi, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington 98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., December 12, 2018. 

Any questions regarding this Request for SOQ’s may be submitted via eBid eXchange. Response to questions will be provided via eBid Addendum.
