The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking an experienced consultant team to act as site coordinator for multiple properties that make up the South Park Landfill and to assist with carrying out specified remedial action measures under the South Park Landfill Consent Decree, filed in 2018.
The initial contract term will likely include 8 years of service with additional extensions possible. Site Coordinator services will be needed for 20 years at a minimum. Estimate for the first 8 years is around $800,000 to $900,000.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the 50th Floor, Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104-5058 (USPS: P.O. Box 34018, Seattle, WA 98124-4018).
SPU PRE-SUBMITTAL CONFERENCE: A pre-submittal conference will be held on Monday July 29, 2019, in Conference Room 4080 (Floor 40) of the Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM. SPU will review the scope of work, consultant expectations, and answer questions. Time will be allocated for attendees to network with each other and discuss teaming arrangements. Although attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, attendance is highly encouraged.
Written questions related to this RFQ are encouraged and shall be directed to Sherry Parker, Contract Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at sherry.parker@seattle.gov. To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions no later than Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
All responses to questions will be issued to all RFQ recipients in the form of an addendum to this RFQ. Addenda will be posted at https://www.ebidexchange.com/seattle.
