Original Date Posted: September 14, 2020 1:09 pm

Due Date:

RFP can be found here (Revised 9/23/2020).

Revised Proposal Due Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. PDT

Q&A Addenda: Updated 9/28/2020

It is the City of Seattle’s (“City”) goal to provide the maximum practicable opportunity for increased participation by minority- and women-owned and controlled businesses, as long as such businesses are underrepresented, and to ensure that City contracting practices do not support discrimination in employment and services when the City procures public works, goods, and services from the private sector.

The City, through the Seattle Department of Human Resources, seeks proposals from qualified firms to conduct two (2) separate and distinct wage studies, for a combined studies’ total of approximately 680 different job classifications, as defined and identified within the Coalition of City Unions and the City of Seattle Memorandum Of Agreement and The Seattle Public Library and Washington State Council of County and City Employees, AFSCME, AFL-CIO  Collective Bargaining Agreement, following the same methodology and processes as defined within this request for proposals.

The City seeks proposals from firms/organizations with experience conducting comparable wage studies for highly matrixed, unionized, large scale public and/or private organizations.

There will be an optional pre-proposal meeting held on September 21, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.  See RFP document and/or contact Lisa Gardner to receive the call-in information. RFP responses must be received by 4:00 p.m. (PDT), Wednesday, October 7, 2020 unless amended by addenda.  The full explanation of what a complete response entails is contained in the RFP document.

Questions regarding the RFP or the selection process should be directed to:
