CITY OF SEATTLE
REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES

AGREEMENT 19-094
NORTHGATE BRIDGE CULVERT MITIGATION PROJECT

The City of Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified consultants for the Northgate Bridge Culvert Mitigation Project. The offsite mitigation project is located at the confluence of Willow Creek and Thornton Creek near NE 100th St and east of Lake City Way.

SDOT will be constructing a bicycle pedestrian bridge that will connect the North Seattle College campus with the area in the vicinity of the Northgate Transit Center, thereby providing much‐needed bicycle and pedestrian improvements to the area. Because of its location, the project will impact wetlands and fish bearing watercourses (Type F waters) throughout the site.  Most of these impacts will be mitigated on-site, except for impacts to a north-south oriented waterbody known as the North Watercourse.

The Request for Qualifications includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements, insurance requirements, selection process, schedule, etc.

Interested consultants may download the Request for Qualification from:   https://www.seattle.procureware.com

NOTE: YOU MUST FORMALLY REGISTER AT PROCUREWARE IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE ADDENDA.

Due to COVID-19 the City is accepting electronic submittals only in lieu of official paper submittals.

  1. The electronic submittal is e-mailed to the Electronic Delivery – E-Mail Address (see page 1 of the RFQ).
  2. Title the e-mail so it will not be lost in an e-mail stream.
  3. Any risks associated with an electronic submittal are borne by the Proposer.
  4. The City’s e-mail system will typically allow documents up to 20 Megabytes.

Electronic SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Dominic Kirangi, –DOT_CCU@seattle.gov by 2:00 p.m., October 19, 2020.

Any questions regarding this Request for Qualifications  may be submitted via Procureware.  Response to questions will be provided via Procureware.

Dates of publication: October 1, and again on October 8, 2020
