REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES

 21-010: 8TH AVE NW AND NW 133RD STREET BRIDGE SEISMIC RETROFIT
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), requests Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms for the following services:

One fulltime Resident Engineer to manage the construction of bridge seismic retrofit construction contract.  This contract is estimated to be up to $150,000 with the time of performance expected to be from July 2021 through closeout phase, scheduled for January 2022.

This project is anticipated to be federally funded in part through a FEMA.

An online Pre-submittal meeting is planned. Details will follow in an addendum.

Interested qualified consultants may download the Request for Qualifications at: City of Seattle Procurement (seattle.procureware.com).

NOTE: YOU MUST FORMALLY REGISTER AT ProcureWare IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE ADDENDA.

The Request for Qualifications includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.

Electronic Submittals must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Dominic Kirangi,  – DOT_CCU@seattle.gov, by 2:00 PM, July 8, 2021.

Any questions regarding this Request for Qualification may be submitted via ProcureWare.  Response to questions will be provided via ProcureWare.

The City of Seattle in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap/disabled, age in consideration for an award.
