SDOT Engineering Services On-Call
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms for SDOT 21-026 SDOT Engineering Services On-Call.
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is seeking to expand the City’s multi-modal network, provide vital connections for neighborhood sidewalks, and rehabilitate arterial pavement through the remaining years of the Move Seattle Levy. Key elements of SDOT Capital Projects include asphalt pavement mill and overlay, partial asphalt and concrete roadway reconstruction, full concrete roadway reconstruction, roadway re-channelization, traffic signals, transit stop improvements, surface water collection system restoration, flow control systems, curb ramp installation, new sidewalks and sidewalk repair. The City of Seattle, through SDOT, requests Statements of Qualifications with the goal of retaining up to three consultant teams who can be available on an on-call basis to assist SDOT in the planning, early engineering (Project Definition), bid document preparation (PS&E), and construction phases of SDOT Capital Projects.
Up to three contracts may be awarded, each for an initial contract amount of $200,000 and a duration of 1 year, with a potential to be amended up to 5 years in duration. The services will be performed in a series of Work Authorizations. The scope, schedule, and budget for these Work Authorizations will vary. There is no minimum guarantee of work under this solicitation.
