NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS
Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for
______________________________________________________________

On-Call Modeling & Analysis Support
SPU RFQ/Contract# 22-236-S

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultant teams to provide On-Call Modeling and Analysis support for all drainage, wastewater, and combined systems. Services may include system network modeling, drainage, and wastewater basin modeling, CSO compliance modeling, Digital Model development, problem identification, survey, mapping, precipitation statistical analysis, field reconnaissance, model review and analysis, long-term model simulations, calibration, validation, conversion and gathering of anecdotal information. Development of and updates to custom software tools used by SPU to support modeling activities, complex optimization modeling and analyses, and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) evaluations.

Additional services may include support for programmatic planning and identification of flow monitoring locations but will not provide for the installation or purchase of monitoring equipment, data collection, evaluation, and QA/QC of the data; this will be completed under a separate contract.

The Contract will be executed for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend up to an additional two (2) years. Work assignments will be developed iteratively over the course of the contract with varying dates for milestones and deliverables depending on the scope. The total of all Work Assignments under the Contract is estimated to be in the range of $4,000,000 to $5,500,000. SPU does not guarantee a specific volume of work under the Contract.

The deadline for submitting Qualifications/Proposals is 2:00 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, December 15, 2022, electronic only via e-mail to SPU_SolicitationResponses@seattle.gov.
