Request for Applications – City of Seattle Consultant Roster
The City of Seattle and Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) invite consultants to complete an online application to the City’s Consultant Roster. The City may use this roster in lieu of separate solicitations for contracts estimated to cost less than $373,000. SHA may use this roster for its projects estimated to cost less than $150,000.
Appointment to the Roster does not guarantee work. Firms may apply to multiple categories; to be approved, firms need to show prior experience or have key personnel that bring prior experience.
Two new service categories have been added to the Roster:
- Real Estate Appraisal Services: Provide real property valuation services, including right of way appraisal services, true cost estimates, appraisals, appraisal reviews, administrative offer summaries, cost to cure bids, market analysis for property acquisitions, surpluses and sales, arbitration of fair market rent, and expert witness. Appraisal services provided in compliance with the Uniform Act 42 U.S. Code Chapter 61, WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines, RCW 8.26 and any Seattle Municipal Code applicable to appraisals.
- Transit Planning: Transit planning and mobility studies, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, recommendations, community and stakeholder engagement, policy and programming, dashboards and reports, and expert witness.
Most roster categories currently have a small business priority in effect. The City uses the U.S. Small Business Administration table of size standards to determine small business status. Firms remain on the Roster until their information becomes obsolete. Apply anytime or verify current registration at: www.seattle.gov/obd.
Per Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, this hereby notifies bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this ad, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit responses to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
