REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
for
On-Call Restoration Plans

The City of Seattle, Seattle City Light Department (“SCL”), seeks to engage a consultant to provide consulting services for On-Call Design of Site Restoration Plans for work implemented by Seattle City Light. Restoration Plans will be included for permit review by Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) for Utility Major Permits (UMP).
SCL is seeking qualified firms to provide the following:
To hire Consultant(s) to perform civil engineering design services on an as-needed basis for support on permitting application submissions for street and/or sidewalk restoration processes required to obtain Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) Major Utilities Permits required for Seattle City Light (SCL) utility maintenance work and capital projects.
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through November 30, 2017. City Light has identified a budget for this project and estimates the contract to be $500,000.00 per year for three (3) years for a total of $1,500,000.00.
SCL, may at its option amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.
