Trees for Seattle Volunteer Management Support 

The City of Seattle Public Utilities is seeking Request for Proposals from experienced consultants to host volunteer tree-stewardship and natural-area restoration events at assigned sites in priority neighborhoods. The consultant will partner with community groups to host tree care events in priority neighborhoods and develop a model of volunteer stewardship that addresses planting, protecting, and watering young trees on Seattle Public School campuses. This is a 5-year contract with a defined scope of work and a varied schedule of deliverables. The estimated total contract amount is $485,000., which will be allocated over the 5 year contract term. SPU does not guarantee any minimum quantity of work under this contract. The City requires a plan for including minority- and women-owned firms, which becomes a material part of the contract. Consultants are subject to all applicable laws and WMBE requirements.
