On-Call Sediments Program Communications Support
SPU RFQ/Contract No. 22-260-S
The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualification packages from qualified Consultants to provide strategic communication and outreach services in support of our cleanup efforts at complex, multi-stakeholder sites such as Lower Duwamish Waterway and Harbor Island Superfund sites. The Work will involve understanding the City’s strategic goals, working in multi-party groups to develop strategic communications plans and joint messaging in pursuit of these goals, and developing tailored internal and external messaging.
SPU will select one (1) qualified Consultant for a five-year On-Call Contract with an estimated contract total of $500,000. The assigned projects under this contract will deal with the unique challenges of contaminated sediments sites in Washington State, including health risks to Environmental Justice and non-English speaking communities, Tribal Treaty rights, and complex multi-Agency coordination.
