Project Description:  The Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking Statements of Qualifications & Project Approach (SOQPAs) from consultants with expertise in performing financial statement audits for large government-owned utilities. SPU is seeking services of a certified public accounting firm to perform audits of SPU’s annual financial statements for its Water, Solid Waste and Drainage & Wastewater Funds and the Water Fund’s reports on purveyor statements and wholesale customer statements. The firm will express an opinion on whether the statements are presented fairly and in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Engineer’s Estimate:  $1.6 – $2.0 million
