 Title: CLOSED-Bicycle Master Plan (BMP) Update RFQ-SDOT-11-32

Project Description: This is a high-level update of the BMP initially approved in May 2007. The update will build upon the current Plan and continue to guide bicycling investments in a manner that supports Seattle’s goals for social equity, economic productivity, sustainability and liveable neoghborhoods. Key deliverables of the BMP will include a high-level existing conditions report, an updated citywide bicycling network including new facility types, a data driven analysis to prioritize needs/projects, bicycle design guidelines, and conceptual design and cost estimates of high priority projects. Public outreach and engagement are critical components of project. Consultant must provide high-level expertise and experience in bicycle planning and design with focus on state-of-the-art bicycle facilities and technical assistance.
