for
Quality Assurance Services for the System Integration (SI) Component of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program

SCL is seeking qualified firms to provide the following:
Seattle City Light (SCL) is seeking to hire an experienced and qualified consultant (Consultant) to perform external and independent Quality Assurance (QA) services in support of the project management during the implementation of the Operational Device Management system and AMI Head End System (HES) implementation and integration with Oracle Smart Grid Gateway (SGG) and Meter Data Management (MDM) system. This software implementation is a piece of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program (Program).
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through December 31, 2017. City Light has identified a budget for this project to be $400,000.00.
SCL, may at its option amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.

The City’s proposed schedule is outlined in the RFP.
The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFP will be awarded in a manner that will comply with all applicable laws of the United States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
“WOMEN AND MINORITY AFFIRMATIVE EFFORTS REQUIREMENTS: All proposals are required to meet the Affirmative Efforts requirements as specified in the RFQ/RFP. An Outreach Plan will be required for the top rated consultant(s).”
