ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES
SPU RFQ/P/Contract# 20-107-S

The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to support and supplement the work of the SPU Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Design Section (CIP Design) in providing engineering services for CIP project delivery and project support across the Drainage and Wastewater Line of Business, Water Line of Business, and Solid Waste Line of Business. The consultant team will assist CIP Design in meeting work demands by supplementing technical skill sets and/or provide capacity for in-house design work.

SPU will procure one or more separate On-Call Contracts for consultant teams to provide engineering design support primarily for options analysis, design, and construction. The combined total estimated contract amount will be $3.5 million for all work assigned under all contracts. 

This contract will be a multi-year On-Call Contract; a specific deliverable schedule is not known at this time.  Work assignments will be developed iteratively over the course of the contract with varying dates for milestones and deliverables depending on the scope. Each contract will be executed for a period of two (2) years, with the option to extend up to an additional three (3) years, for a total of five (5) years.
