On-Call Geotechnical Engineering Services
SPU RFQ/Contract# (RE-BID) 23-090-S
The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to assist the Geotechnical Engineering team in providing technical expertise in projects, perform peer reviews of engineering services, or to meet project schedule requirements during peak workload periods.
SPU will select one (1) qualified Consultant for a four (4) year On-Call term with an option to extend an additional one (1) year – five (5) years maximum. This contract will be awarded with an estimated $450,000. The work will be issued by way of Work Assignments (WA). SPU does not guarantee any minimum quantity of Work under this Contract.

The deadline for submitting Qualifications is 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, July 27, 2023, electronic submittals are to be uploaded to the City’s Procurement Portal: https://cityofseattle.bonfirehub.com/portal.

Proposers may submit questions to the procurement portal (Bonfire) under the Vendor Discussions section. The City strongly prefers that consultants submit questions in Bonfire, but will accept questions submitted to the Contract Administrator in email format, as well. Questions shall be directed to Jamie Cortez, Contract Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at jamie.cortez@seattle.gov To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. All responses to questions will be posted at https://cityofseattle.bonfirehub.com/portal under the Public Notices Section in the respective procurement opportunity.
