Title: CLOSED-A/E Services for NSC Campus Modifications RFQ-SCL-2011-09

Project Description: The purpose of issuing the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to seek qualified architectural and engineering services to plan and implement construction modifications to an existing warehouse campus in order to relocate existing program functions to this facility.

The City expects to achieve the following outcomes through this consultant solicitation:
• Identify a consultant candidate who has both the experience and the knowledge of commercial light-industrial vehicle shop and service operations within enclosed building areas.
• Identify a consultant candidate who has experience, knowledge, and consultant resources to convert warehouse facilities to alternate uses
• Identify a consultant candidate who has worked successfully with clients to assess their needs and develop a program leading to construction, and
• Identify a candidate for a consultant contract to plan the work of this important Utility project.

Engineer’s Estimate: $300,000
