REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
PROJECT: 13-75 Georgetown Festival Street Design Services
The City of Seattle, through the Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms for the Georgetown Festival Street Design Services Project.
The project will be completed in phases. Phase 1 will be initial urban design/public involvement services to complete a community process that identifies vision for street and what project elements to take to 30% design. Anticipated costs associated with Phase 1 are between $25,000 to $75,000 with a completion by January-February 2014. Phase 2 is for 30% design to final design (including public involvement) and costs are anticipated between $150,000 to $250,000 to be completed by August 2014. Phase 3 design support during construction is anticipated to be $20,000 to $50,000 with a completion date of November 2015. Depending on funding, conditions with funding sources and performance, the Consultant selected may continue on for Phases 2 and 3 to provide services through final design and construction support.

The RFQ packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.
To be considered, proposals must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Sonia Palma, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3900, PO Box 34996, Seattle, WA 98124-4996 by 4:00pm, October 9, 2013.
