REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

PSANI – BO – SK #1 / #2 230Kv Design Build Reconductoring Project, Owner Representative Services

SCL is seeking qualified firms to provide the following:

The Consultant shall be expected, as the Owner’s Representative, to provide the management of the potential design-build team selection process and shall be responsible for two phases of professional services: 1) services before a potential design-build team is selected, 2) services after potential design-build team contractor selected.

The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through December 31, 2018. City Light has identified a budget of $1,000,000.00 for this project.

SCL, may at its option amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.

A security guard will provide the delivery

worker with freight elevator access to the

mailroom on the 28th floor. Deliveries can be

The City’s proposed schedule is outlined in the RFQ.

The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFQ will be awarded in a manner that will comply with all applicable laws of the United States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.

“WOMEN AND MINORITY AFFIRMATIVE EFFORTS REQUIREMENTS: All proposals are required to meet the Affirmative Efforts requirements as specified in the RFQ/RFP. An Outreach Plan will be required for the top rated consultant(s).”
