PSANI – BO – SK #1/#2 230 kV Design Build Reconductoring Project, Owner Representative Services
SCL is seeking qualified firms to provide the following:
Consultant team will have strong review and assessment capabilities of relevant design build activities, processes and help the City identify problems and issues in order to reduce risks and improve the likelihood of success.
The successful consultant team will be able to produce documents to issue under a Public Works advertisement to obtain the services of a design build team, interface with the Department of Finance and Administrative Services, City Purchasing and Contracting Services and assist City Light to perform necessary activates to successfully complete the Project.
The term of the contract shall extend from the date of execution by the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Seattle City Light, or designee, through December 31, 2018. City Light has identified a budget of $500,000.00 for this project.
SCL, may amend the original contract for scope, time, and funding, subject to the continuing appropriation authority by the Seattle City Council.

The City’s proposed schedule is outlined in the RFQ.
The contract that is awarded as a result of this RFQ will be awarded in a manner that will comply with all applicable laws of the United States, State of Washington, the City Charter, and Ordinances of the City of Seattle.
“WOMEN AND MINORITY AFFIRMATIVE EFFORTS REQUIREMENTS: All proposals are required to meet the Affirmative Efforts requirements as specified in the RFQ/RFP. An Outreach Plan will be required for the top rated consultant(s).”
