REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 17-067 Delridge Multimodal Design Services
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Engineering firms for SDOT contract 17-067 Delridge Multimodal Design Services.
Scope of Work:
Design services for the multimodal facilities along Delridge Way SW from West Seattle bridge to SW Roxbury Street. Improvements will include business access transit lanes, RapidRide stations, protected bike lanes, pedestrian traffic signals and neighborhood greenway connections.
The CONSULTANT selected for this contract shall provide preliminary engineering, i.e. 30% design plans, specifications, and estimates. The design will be based on a 10% concept design currently being completed.
The initial contract is estimated to be in the range of $400,000 to $700,000, and the time of performance expected to be through end of the first quarter of 2018.
At the discretion of SDOT, the original agreement for this work may be amended for the CONSULTANT to provide any or all of the following services: 60%, 90%, 100%, and Ad-ready PS&E; design services during construction; and/or construction inspection and administration.
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.

SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Dominic Kirangi, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington 98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., October 5, 2017.
