ON CALL PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Seattle City Light (a municipal electric utility) is seeking to supplement its existing project delivery teams with contracted project managers to assist in the successful delivery of technical projects of varying sizes.
The Seattle City Light (SCL) Project Delivery Division (PDD) Project Management Office is the project sponsor, will set project requirements, and will be the primary stakeholder.
The SCL Project Management Office (PMO) has determined there is a need to engage an external consulting resource with expertise in project management to assist with a growing workload. The consultant will act as the primary project manager for the project, coordinating efforts and information flow between all stakeholders. In addition, consultant resources will work on requirements gathering, scope definition, scheduling and other project requirements as needed. PMO Resources will be responsible for cost estimating and budgeting tasks.
PMO will be the contract administrator for the contract, however, the Project Management Consultant will work with the various workgroups such as Engineering and others on Project Management activities.
