Next Generation Data Center Project
Phase Two: Consultant Services for Detail Design through Relocation Implementation
The City of Seattle through its Department of Information Technology is proceeding to Phase Two of its Generation Data Center Project – a multi-phase, multi-year project, to consolidate and replace the City’s data centers.
For Phase Two the City seeks proposals from qualified consultants to provide services including detail design of IT Business Processes (governance, service and service level management, cost model), Facilities, and IT Technology; management of IT business process set-up, facility set-up, and IT technology set-up; management of relocation tests and pilots; and implementation and relocation planning, scheduling and management.
A qualified consultant will have recent experience in a) Data Center Facility Detail Design; b) Data Center IT Business Processes, c) Data Center Infrastructure Design and d) Data Center Relocation preferably to co-location facilities.
