REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTANT SERVICES
Project: SDOT 16-006 S Lander St Grade Separation Design Services
The City of Seattle, through Seattle Department of Transportation, requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for SDOT 16-006 S Lander St Grade Separation Design Services.
This contract is estimated to be between $1 M to $2.5 M for Phase 1 with the time of performance expected to be between April 2016 and August 2016. There may be additional phases for design work to 100% design plans and support during construction. The total contract value may be approximately $6 M to $15.5 M, depending on performance and funding.
This project includes completion of 30% design work for the referenced project and may include additional phases up to 100% design including surveying, geotechnical, environmental, urban design, traffic analysis/design, community outreach and other services. Federal Funding is anticipated and all federal terms and conditions will apply.

The Request for SOQ’s packet includes a more detailed Scope of Work, administrative requirements such as subconsulting, insurance, selection process, schedule, etc.
SOQ’s must be received by the Seattle Department of Transportation, Attention: Ryan Hawkes, 700 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3800, P. O. Box 34996, Seattle, Washington 98124-4996 by 4:00 p.m., February 17, 2016.
Any questions regarding this Request for SOQ’s may be submitted via eBid eXchange. Response to questions will be provided via eBid Addendum.
The City of Seattle in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
