The Equitable Community Initiatives Task Force is re-opening this RFQ in order to ensure that it is seen by the broadest community audience. The RFQ has not been altered in any way. The Names of Applicants and their proposals have not been released to reviewers to ensure a fair and equitable review process.

City of Seattle Request for Qualifications
Title: Equitable Communities Initiative Task Force Facilitator
RFQ Due Date: November 30, 2020
Scope of Work: The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is seeking qualifications from a consultant or consultant team to coordinate and facilitate the City’s Equitable Communities Initiative Task Force (ECI), a group of Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) community leaders. The ECI Task Force is a group of approximately 35 community leaders charged with conducting a community-led engagement process that results in budget, policy, and programmatic recommendations. These recommendations will be used by the City to support near and long-term priorities in BIPOC communities including, but not limited to, expenditure of the recently announced $100M budget intended to support those priorities.
The consultant must be available to commence work on this project by early November 2020 and commit through June 2021. Available funding for this contract shall not exceed $200,000.
Proposals are due on November 30, 2020 by 5:00 pm to the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods (Patty.Camacho@seattle.gov).
The consultant is bound to laws and ordinances regarding equal employment opportunity.
