REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) #CD 2023-022

On-Call Waterproofing, Envelope and Roofing Diagnosis and Design Services

Future RFQ Advertisement date: 8/25/23

PROJECT LOCATION:  The portfolio of City-owned real estate has approximately 100 facilities including City Hall, the Seattle Justice Center, the Seattle Municipal Tower, police precincts, fire stations, shops and yard facilities, and other miscellaneous buildings.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Seattle Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS), Capital Development and Division (CD) seeks consultants to provide waterproofing, envelope and roofing diagnosis services for general facilities projects located throughout Seattle. Selected firms may be large or small, with various areas of specialty. CD is pursuing on-call contracts with consultant firms especially for those scopes of work for which the skills of a full design team are not needed.

Minimum qualifications for this solicitation include the following:

The following are minimum qualifications and licensing requirements the Consultant must meet in order to be eligible to submit a RFQ response. Submittals must clearly show compliance to these minimum requirements.  Those that are not clearly responsive to these minimum qualifications shall be rejected by the City without further consideration:

1. The Consultant’s submittal shall provide a minimum of three (3) projects that demonstrates the proposing firm has previously worked in the area of specifying and detailing waterproofing systems in the last ten (10) years.

The City of Seattle reserves the right to update the minimum qualifications prior to the publish date of the RFQ.
