Project Title: Real Estate Broker for 401 Mercer St. Leasing
Submittals Due by: 4:00 PM PST, 10/27/2023
Scope of Services: The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to select an experienced Seattle-area real estate broker team to assist Seattle Center in listing, marketing, and leasing the building at 401 Mercer St. The successful proposer should have experience representing landlords and current knowledge of the local market. Prior experience working with public entities is desirable but is not a requirement.
The City expects to achieve the following outcomes through this consultant solicitation:
- Select an experienced Seattle-area commercial real estate broker team to advise the City on a leasing strategy and list, market, and lease the office building at 401 Mercer St.
- Select a commercial real estate broker team with local experience as a landlord representative.
- Select a commercial real estate broker team with experience leasing and marketing comparable properties and customizing a marketing and leasing plan to the unique situation of each property.
The services contemplated in this solicitation are consistent with the City’s commitment to Women and Minority-Owned Businesses (WMBE) firms, as memorialized in the “Equality in Contracting” Ordinance, Seattle Municipal Code, Chapter 20.42 and Executive Orders issued in 2010 and 2014, which communicate the City’s policies and priorities to maximize inclusion efforts to ensure WMBEs are afforded every opportunity for inclusion in City of Seattle procurement/contracting.
Seattle Center is hosting an optional virtual pre-submittal conference on October 16, 2023 at 1:00pm Details provided in the RFQ.
